Do you need a desk bag?

Allie's back to school supply list this year (and last) includes a desk bag that hangs on the back of the desk.  I did what any good crafter would do and started searching the web for a pattern or tutorial to make one, and I was shocked when I couldn't find one!  When Sew, Mama, Sew! put out a call for tutorials, I knew I wanted to participate. 

If you need to make a desk bag, head on over there for the tutorial.  If you don't want to make one though, I have exciting news!  Unfortunately, Allie doesn't like this bag, so I'm going to give it away to one of you.  Leave a comment here and be sure to include your email address, and I'll choose a random winner on Sunday.

    We were spoiled last year as my daughter's teacher had chair pockets for each child. This would be perfect for her to take to 4th grade...which starts in only two weeks!

    How exciting! I clicked on the link to your blog at sew mama sew out of sheer curiosity not knowing that i would be entered in this cool giveaway.
    I love your tutorial and how you make time to sew. I long for some extra time to spend at my sewing corner, oh well, perhaps some day.

    I, too, found you through Sew, Mama, Sew, and I think it's adorable! I've stopped trying to make things for my girls without their input, because I've had to give away, rip apart, or just set aside items I've worked hard on that they just don't dig as much as I do!     Being unemployed for more than a year now, I've found my sewing talents have earned me a little extra money. I will make a couple of these desk bags and take them up to our local K-12 school and see if I can "interest" a few teachers in them. As an educator, I realize the importance of having supplies handy and this does the trick. Also colors up the classroom a bit!
    I also like the idea of keeping them on the kitchen chairs for when I tutor children in my home. Thanks for the inspiration!!
